Aughton Male Voice Choir Hits Top Note with Becconsall U3A

Last Friday evening (17th June) members of Becconsall U3A were part of a very fortunate audience at All Saints Church who were treated to a musical extravaganza by the Aughton Male Voice Choir

Becconsall U3A Chairman, Terry Baldwin, was amongst around 40 extremely well presented members of the Choir who filed into the church and proceeded to wow the  waiting congregation with a truly inspirational performance from one of the best choirs in the country.

The choir was very ably supported by our very own musical maestros, the Becconsall Bugs, who showed no sign of their pre-show nerves. With a little help from four experienced Ukulele players from Southport U3A, they  quickly got into their rhythm and soon had the whole church singing along. Everyone agreed that they emerged from the debut performance with flying colours.

All who went along said it was a thoroughly entertaining and uplifting show. Many thanks and a Huge Well Done to all those who took part!
