A new term has come around with the group beginning and finishing work. Mike has completed his first tapestry hanging, as you can see from the photo, a beautiful landscape in bold blocks of colour.
Patchworks have been started from new in striking reds and green in a wonderful dresden plate design, whilst a once forgotten piece in pastel shades has been found and finally completed.
Everybody worked hard on their fimo ideas but nobody’s revealing their final pieces until they are attached to their textile item. We will all have to wait and see what the finished creation will be. The group is very busy, discussion of work that is to get underway and also what could be tackled in the future. We get so busy that often coffees and tea are left to get cold but amazingly the biscuits always get eaten!
I look forward each fortnight to see and hear what these ladies are thinking of next….so why not come and join in. The Goup meets once a fortnight in the Front Hall of the Community Centre,1:30 to 3:30 on a Monday.
